  • The Adventure Tails is based in Romsey, Victoria, and services the Macedon Ranges, Sunbury, and Kilmore areas.

I’m happy to travel to locations outside these areas, but please note that a travel fee will apply.

  • All new clients are required to have an initial consult for their first session.
This is a 90 minute session costing $95.
During this consult we will guide you towards which of our services best suit you and your dog.
Please see our services page for a full list of prices.

  • It’s difficult to give an exact time frame for how long training will take, as every dog progresses at their own pace. My goal is to make the training process as clear and manageable as possible by equipping you with the right tools, strategies, and information tailored to your goals.

Each dog is unique, so factors such as previous training, the nature of any behavioral issues, health, environment, and most importantly, the time and effort you can commit, will all affect how quickly your dog learns.

Training requires patience and consistency on your part. While I’m here to guide and support you, achieving success relies on a collaborative approach between owner and trainer.

  • Yes, all new training clients are required to complete an initial consult. This session provides the opportunity to assess and discuss your dog’s behaviours and history. Most importantly, it allows us to talk about your training goals for your dog. From there, I will create a personalized training plan tailored to you and your dog, and guide you on how to integrate the training into your lifestyle and daily routine.

For social walk clients, a consult is not necessary, but please reach out to book a time for a quick meet and greet before walks commence.

  • The Adventure Tails welcomes all dogs, young and old!
The saying, "You can’t teach an old dog new tricks," couldn’t be further from the truth.
While starting training at an early age is certainly beneficial, I find that dogs of any age are trainable and eager to learn new skills.

  • If your dog isn’t motivated by treats, other rewards like pats or favourite toys can be just as effective.

I’ll guide you in using what your dog finds most rewarding to shape desired behaviours.

  • Initial consults and 1:1 training session times or dates can be rescheduled with more than 24 hours' notice.
For recurring weekly training sessions and social walks, please reach out if your usual session time needs to be adjusted, and I’ll do my best to accommodate the request.

I understand that circumstances can change, but I kindly ask that you respect my time and try to stick to your scheduled session times. If you need to discuss anything further, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
